Jenny Lawson is a phenom. Her creativity and ability to laugh at life’s absurdities, including ourselves, is incredibly refreshing. I have been a fan of hers for years, enjoying not only her sense of humor, but her ability to take risks. She explores vulnerability, mental health concerns, TED talks, and taxidermy, all while making us guffaw out loud.

Unabashedly funny, I’ve also seen Jenny tackle self-revelation like no one else. From her unusual childhood to her literary successes, she invites her readers in conspiratorially and without pretense. Disarming and hilarious, Jenny is a rare bird indeed. I’m delighted to support her blog and I’m grateful you’ve come over to check out my site, too.

One of my resolutions for 2023 is to engage here more often. I have to develop a cheekier attitude, in my opinion, and stop taking serious issues like mental health so, well, seriously. As I’ve always said, everybody has their something. Mine happens to be bipolar disorder but there’s a lot more to me than my diagnosis. Feel free to explore around the site and check back again soon. Who knows, I might write something actually humorous.
